AL collects nomination paper for Abdul Hamid

Administering Bangladesh Awami Class on Friday gathered a designation paper for president Md Abdul Hamid to challenge the presidential race.

ASM Firoz, the central whip at the parliament, gathered the designation paper from the race commission (EC) office for the benefit of the president.

As indicated by the decision plan, the race will be hung on 18 February while the due date for the accommodation of designation is 5 February.

The bid will be investigated on 7 February, the calendar included.

On the off chance that more than one individual presents the selection, the voting to choose the following leader of the nation will be held in the vicinity of 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm on 18 February at the parliament.

The EC plan likewise said just individuals from the parliament can propose the name of a competitor and name a president.

The residency of the present president closes on 23 April. As per the law, the successor of the president must be chosen 60-90 days before the residency closes
