Law minister, attorney general and BB governor to visit Philippines to retrieve stolen money

Administrator of Parliamentary Standing Board of trustees on Fund Service Abdur Razzaq, Lawyer General Mahbubey Alam and Bangladesh Bank Senator Fazle Kabir will go with Law Serve Anisul Huq in the visit starting Nov 26.

The law serve affirmed the visit in a meeting with the columnists however declined to give points of interest.

"I will converse with you after I return from the Philippines completing our work," Huq said including, "I would prefer not to state that I will either unless I complete the work."

"Whatever the result of the visit, I will advise you," he told columnists.

The assignment will return on Nov 30.

One-fifth of the cash, cheated by a composed group of digital offenders, remote businesspeople and brokers, has as of now been recovered.

In February this year digital crooks hacked into Bangladesh Bank's quick framework and directed $81 million to the Philippines.

So far $15 million has been recovered. The national bank is attempting to recover rest of the cash, some of which are kept solidified with club in the Philippines.
