Pakistan leaves Hafeez out

Pakistan left all-rounders Mohammad Hafeez and Imad Wasim out of a 16-man squad for the six-country Asia Glass, to be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from one week from now, selectors declared Tuesday.

Yet, left-gave opener Shan Masood gets his first possibility in Pakistan's one-day squad in the wake of scoring 1,200 or more keeps running in the two residential one-day competitions, boss selector Inzamam-ul-Haq said.

The 28-year-old has so far played 12 Tests for Pakistan.

Sarfraz Ahmed will lead the side, which opens their Glass crusade against the special case contestant on September 16 preceding going up against most despised adversaries India in a profoundly foreseen coordinate three days after the fact. The two rounds are in Dubai.
